• Download the Free Upgrade.
• Once downloaded, run the executable file (Stansys.exe). It will prompt you to extract the files to C:\STANSYS. (You may change the destination folder if you wish).
• Run the setup.exe file located in the destination folder.
• This setup will upgrade a registered ver 4.5, or early ver 5.0, to the latest version (version 5.00.33).
• You may be required to re-enter your Serial number.

Some difficulty has been reported in installing STANSYS™ on some portables which use a proprietary version of DOS or Microsoft Windows™.

Most portables work OK with only two instances of the problem being reported so far.

In most cases re-installing STANSYS™ solves the problem.

We have also had a reported problem where another program (usually a game) has been installed after STANSYS™ . Again the solution is to re-install STANSYS™ .
